Then the questions start.
Most companies want to bring on students. Then the questions start: Can we hire someone under 18? Who runs payroll? What about workers' comp? InternCrew answers all of them. We source, screen, onboard, and employ the student, and we carry the payroll, HR, and workers' comp, so your team can focus on what only you can do: teach the work.
- Students who are screened and ready to work on day one
- Payroll, HR, and workers' comp handled by InternCrew
- Reduced risk and no added paperwork for your team
- A pipeline into the roles you struggle to fill, in whatever industry you hire

We handle the hard part.
Source and screen
We recruit screened students and young adults through partner high schools, local colleges, CTE programs, and workforce partners.
Employ and protect
As the employer of record, we carry payroll, HR, compliance, and workers' comp.
You teach the work
You supervise the work and teach the craft. We carry the rest.
InternCrew is the employer of record. We carry the liability, the payroll and the workers' comp, so you get the help and the student gets the job.
“Every week I hear employers say they can’t find workers, and I meet young people with no idea what’s next. Those problems should solve each other. Instead, liability, child labor rules, age limits, outdated perceptions and HR teams that aren’t set up to hire teens keep the door shut. I’ve spent my career in payroll and HR, so I know how to take that wall down. We’re new, but I promise every student and employer gets my full effort, because these students deserve a shot and these businesses need them.”

Wherever you hire, we can help.
We place students and young adults across eight growing industries, and in other roles too.
CNA and patient care aide roles where students start climbing the ladder toward your LPN and RN positions.
Electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and welding roles where students earn while they learn your trade.
Students run CNC machines and work alongside your mechatronics and robotics technicians on the production floor.
Help desk roles where students build the skills that lead to your networking and cybersecurity roles.
Warehouse, dispatch, and shop roles that build your future CDL drivers and diesel technicians.
Entry roles that start students on the path to becoming your lineworkers and grid technicians, the people who keep the power on.
Lab support roles that grow students into your future lab technicians and biomanufacturing staff.
Bank operations roles where students build real office experience on the way to your licensed advisor roles.
Questions Employers Ask Us
What does it cost?
Pricing is tailored to the role and the hours you need, and it stays simple and predictable. Payroll, HR, and workers' comp are already handled, so there are no surprises on your end. Tell us about the job and we'll build your quote. Let's talk.
Who carries the liability?
We do. InternCrew is the employer of record, so we carry payroll, payroll taxes, HR, compliance, and workers' comp for every student we place. You supervise the work and teach the craft. We handle everything that usually makes HR say no.
How many hours can students work?
It's flexible. Most students work part time during the school year and pick up more hours in the summer. We schedule every placement within state and federal child labor rules for minors, so you get reliable help without guessing what's allowed.
Can I hire 16 and 17 year olds?
Yes. Students who are 16 and 17 can work in many roles. We handle the work permits and compliance, and we help match your role to what the rules allow. Most employers are surprised by how much young talent can legally do.
How fast can a student start?
Once your role is defined, we source and screen students right away and move quickly to get your hire on the job. No months of job postings. No stack of resumes to sort through. Just a screened student ready to work.
Where do your students come from?
We recruit screened students and young adults through our partner high schools, local colleges, career and technical education programs, and workforce development partners. These are motivated young people who want real work, not busywork, and they come to you ready to learn.
What industries do you serve?
We focus on eight pathways: healthcare, construction and skilled trades, advanced manufacturing, information technology, transportation and logistics, energy and utilities, life sciences, and finance. We also place students in automotive, hospitality and food service, retail, agriculture, and office and administrative roles. If you have real work and someone willing to teach it, there's likely a student ready to do it.
