A Safe, Paid First Step.
Your student is a real, paid W-2 employee, covered by InternCrew's workers' comp from day one.
Questions parents ask us.
Is my student a real employee?
Yes. InternCrew is the employer of record, so your student is a real, paid W-2 employee. They earn a paycheck for real work, and they're covered by InternCrew's workers' comp from day one. No unpaid internships, no gray areas.
How does my student get paid?
Students are paid through a pay card, so their earnings arrive simply and securely. As a parent, you authorize the pay card and also have access to those funds, so you can stay involved while your student learns to earn and manage their own money.
Are the hours and tasks safe for minors?
Every placement follows state and federal child labor laws for minors. That covers the hours your student can work, the tasks they're allowed to do, and any work permits they need. We handle the compliance so you don't have to wonder.
Who will my student work for?
We vet every employer we partner with, and employers supervise the work day to day. We screen each student and match them to a role that fits their interests, so they're set up to learn, contribute, and grow in a place that wants them there.
Why does paid work matter now?
A real job is the best way to explore a career before the big decisions after graduation. Whether your student is curious about healthcare, the trades, technology, finance, or something else, they'll learn what they love, and what they don't, while earning money and building confidence.
What if I have questions?
Reach out anytime. We're here for parents as much as for students and employers, and we're happy to walk you through how a placement works, what your student will do, and how we keep it safe. Call us at (317) 720-3172 or email Hello@InternCrew.com.
Can I refer my employer to InternCrew?
Absolutely. Parents are some of our best connectors. As the employer of record, InternCrew handles payroll, HR, and workers' comp, so it's easy for your workplace to make room for a student. Point them to our Employer Interest form, or reach out and we'll make the introduction simple.
